The Children’s Hour

The Children’s Hour Radio Show is for kids of all ages. We broadcast live on Saturday mornings, 9-10am Mountain Standard Time out of the studios of KUNM-fm. Live and local, the show is produced by Katie Stone with help from a dedicated crew of young people and their parents. Sometimes our shows have themes, and sometimes we have kid performers in the studio with us. We love science, technology, and we explore history, culture and the nature around us in New Mexico, as well as in other parts of the world. On our show, you’ll hear the current events calendar for kids and families in New Mexico, as well as a weekly birthday shout out to all the kids in our Children’s Hour Birthday Club. We’ll talk about the news of the day, but we won’t talk your ear off! Our music is some of the best on the radio dial, and it’s kid-friendly to boot. You never know what you’ll learn, but we promise to keep you entertained in the process.
